Lachov is a small village 2,5 km southeast of Teplice nad Metují, where it falls administratively today. It was founded in 1256 and had a hereditary rycht. Around 80 permanent residents live here, other cottages and houses (a total of 52 addresses) are used for recreation. The road from Teplice nad Metují to Police nad Metují passes through the village.
