Kroměříž - sculpture of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary

The Annunciation of the Virgin Mary in Kroměříž is a relatively rare type of Mannerist sculpture that can be found in Na Kopečku Street here. It dates from 1696 and was created by the French sculptor Jean Baptiste Dieussard, who worked in Vienna. The sculpture consists of a massive base with an inscription cartouche and top statues of the Virgin Mary and Archangel Gabriel.
