Kroměříž is a district town in the west of the Zlín region. It lies on an old trade route by the Morava River in the southern tip of Hané. Almost 30 thousand inhabitants live here. In 1998, the local Archbishop's Castle with the Flower Garden and the Podzámecká Garden was entered into the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
