The wooden cross with the tin body of Christ dates from 1910, when most of the Smrk mountain belonged to the Olomouc archbishopric (now the Ostrava-Opava bishopric). However, the land and the nearby cottage remained state-owned even in 2014. A crucifix also marked a nearby well. It is a plain prismatic cross, richly carved.
