Crooked Maple
It is the third highest eight-thousander (in decimeters) of the Žďárské vrchy. The peak is very inconspicuous, round and without a view of the surroundings. The ridge of the Žďárské vrchů separates the peaks in this place only with shallow saddles. This hill confused pilgrims for a long time with its name, because there was no maple on the top, let alone a crooked one. This prompted the cottagers from Fryšava under the leadership of Radek Vichra to act. They call themselves Friends of the Crooked…
