Crooked Lake

A dead arm of the Odra that arose naturally. It was separated from the flow of the Odra by a natural change in its flow even before the regulation of the river. It represents about 1,5 km of the original stream with preserved riparian vegetation. The partially flowing (underground connection with the Odra) gradually grows over. Here, you can observe the gradual disappearance of blind branches, the so-called grounding, and the meandering of the original course of the river.
