Our route starts at the Infocenter in the village of Brtníky. From the signpost, we take the green TZ between the houses and climb the local road. At the end of the village, we turn into a meadow (pay attention to orientation) and continue along the power line to the edge of the forest.
We pass the former ŠTERNBERK castle and after a while we reach the Owl lookout. It is about 50 m from the main road but it is already quite overgrown.
