Krasovský kotel is a nature reserve located north of the village of Krasov and on the northwestern slope of Kozí vrch (678 m above sea level). In the eastern direction from the village of Krasov is the town of Krnov, in the north direction is the town of Albrechtice and in the west direction is the village of Karlovice and further west is the town of Vrbno pod Pradědem. The Krasovský kotel nature reserve is part of the Nízký Jeseník mountain range.
