The royal town of Podivín belongs to the Lednice-Valtice area. It is one of the oldest cities. In the Kosmova Chronicle in 1067, it is mentioned as Podiuin Castle.
The town with its slender white originally baroque church tower, modified in 1829 in neo-Gothic style, is a kind of lighthouse on the island of Lednice - Valtice area. History of the church of St. Peter and Paul dates back to the first half of the 13th century.…
