The ruins of Kožlí Castle stand on a steep wooded promontory above the confluence of the Janovický and Tisemské streams in the Benešovské region in the Central Bohemia region. The castle was built on a regular rectangular plan, protected from both sides by ditches crossing the promontory. The castle itself, which was surrounded by a fenced wall with a tower-like gate, consisted of 2 rectangular palaces of the same size. So it was a classic example of a castle...
