Kovač - U Karlíček

The U Karlíčka location can be found at the end of the village of Kovač in the direction of Butoves. To the right of the road is a sandstone sculpture of St. Karel Borromeo. There is a legend attached to this monument, which says that when the last owner of the estate, the Prince of Cumbur, Karel Trauttmansdorf, was a small boy, he fell seriously ill. He eventually recovered and his father had a statue of the Saint erected to commemorate his recovery...
