Kostelec na Hané

A small town near Prostějov. The first mentions of it are already in the first half of the 14th century.
In Kostelec, you can visit the memorial hall of Petr Bezruč in the so-called Red and White House, which were opened to honor his memory. The poet spent the last years (1939-1958) of his life here. In 1968, Bezruč's Memorial was also unveiled, depicting the author standing with his hands behind his back.
