Church of St. Peter and Paul in Bernartice

In 1735, after pastor Christoph Schlögel, the first secular priest installed in Bor, the zealous and meritorious pastor P. Adalbert Hanika took over the rectory in Bernartice. Already two years after that, on May 2, 1737, an agreement was reached between the patron of the church, Prince Karl of Löwenstein, and the parish priest Hanika, the old church of St. Peter and Paul on the hill above the village, which was commemorated as early as 1384, to demolish and lay the foundation stone for the church...
