Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Řetová

It is not exactly known since when the church stood in the village of Řetová. The oldest written documents about it are preserved from the second half of the 2th century.
In 1753, the poor state of the church is mentioned, which at that time was even recommended by an expert commission to be demolished. Already 2 years later, a new church dedicated to St. Mary Magdalene.
A bell was transferred from the old demolished belfry to its tower. At the end of the 18th century, the village…
