Ski resort Košťálka

The ski area KOŠŤÁLKA is located at the southern foot of Světlá hora and the eastern edge of the town of Janské Lázně. This is the first ski resort on arrival (to the right from road no. 297) to Janské Lázně from Trutnov and Svoboda nad Úpou. Due to its difficulty, the slope is suitable for beginner skiers, skilled skiers, snowboarders and snowboarders, for families with children and school training. The area consists of two single pole ski lifts on a very large meadow. With good visibility, you can see all the way to the ridge of the Eagle Mountains from the upper part of the area. Skiing is done on 100% natural snow, in case of lack of it, unfortunately we do not yet have any other sources to replace natural snow. The main Košťálka I lift starts from the parking lot by the main road. The second lift, Košťálk II., which starts a few meters higher, suitably complements the services when the area is visited more frequently. The area is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m. In case of good skiing conditions, every day CONTINUOUSLY from 9.00:21.00 a.m. to 16.30:21.00 p.m. In that case, all time tickets are valid regardless of arrival or discounted evening skiing from 4,5:150 p.m. to 200:XNUMX p.m. (XNUMX hours) for just XNUMX crowns. We offer night skiing under artificial lighting to those who don't have enough downhill skiing for the whole day or who want to exercise after work. To diversify the fun, you can use several snow obstacles, which will be especially appreciated by snowboarders. To ward off hunger and quench your thirst, a pleasant refreshment awaits you with a beautiful view of Janské Lázně and the surrounding area, which is located at the top of the slope after a successful ride on the lift. In case of insufficient snow conditions, evening skiing is limited, verbal or telephone agreement is required. There are only a limited number of parking spaces in the direct vicinity of the main ticket office. In case of full capacity, we recommend to stop, unload the children, equipment and park the car XNUMX meters higher towards the center. From this parking lot, you can easily get back to the ticket office on skis.
