Kopeckého sady - Pilsen
Martin Kopecký (1777-1854) was an important burgomaster of the city of Pilsen in the years 1828-1850. Among his most significant achievements is the removal of the medieval walls around the historic center of Pilsen, in the place of which circular parks were established. One of their parts today bears the name Kopecky Sady after its founder. His other important work was the construction of three fountains at the corners of today's Republic Square...
