Komárov - statue of the Virgin Mary

 
As I wander around our beautiful Czech-Moravian-Silesian homeland, I am often amazed by how strongly our ancestors developed an aesthetic sense. Not only castles, chateaux and churches, but also smaller sacred monuments such as chapels, the Passion of God and crosses were perfectly integrated into the landscape and thus became an inherent cultural part of it.
