Kočíčí skála - a natural monument

It is a distinctive rock formation of Ernsbrunn limestone rising above the flat surface by the road between Mikulov and Klentnica. On the steppe lawns in the spring you can see the large-flowered cornflower and the low iris. On the south side, you can see Welsh fescue and grooved fescue and, in late summer, hairy sedge. On the western side, the dominant flagellated roller and, in early spring, a striking headland...
