Memorial trees do not always enjoy a sufficient period of protection. A vault near Šumné potok near Adolfovice had a rather sad fate. It was declared a memorial tree in 2009, however, it basically disappeared from the spring of 2012. More precisely, in the autumn of 2011, reduction cuts of the drying crown were made.
