Klatovy - Catacombs and mummies in the Klatovy catacombs

In the premises under the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary and St. Ignáce, in the southwestern part of Náměstí Miru in Klatovy, you will find unique catacombs. In the area Under the Jesuit Church, coffins were placed with the bodies of the order's Jesuit brothers in black clerics and their noble supporters in magnificent clothes. They were mostly Jesuit dignitaries, rectors, teachers or noblemen.
