Monastery Complex

The monastery in Ostrov, also known as the Sacred Precinct of Ostrov, was created in the 17th century and is exceptional for its baroque architecture. Next to the original funeral chapel, a monastery church was built, and later also a Piarist gymnasium with other chapels. Since 2007, the newly reconstructed monastery complex has been run by the Ostrov House of Culture.
