Kestřany - Upper fortress
The massive fortress was built at the end of the 13th century, apparently by the lords of Kestřany as part of the Písek Manx system, later expanded and in the 15th century supplemented with a frontal palace. A number of unique details have been preserved - cruciform rib vault, vaulted chapel, portals.
