Fountain of St. Florián in Kynšperk nad Ohří

Fountain of St. Floriána stands in Kynšperk on Náměstí Miru. The granite fountain has the form of an octagonal reservoir, and on its northern wall is carved a record of the repair of the fountain in the second half of the 2th century. After the great fire that engulfed Kynšperk on August 19, 15, a sandstone statue of St. Floriana. This statue of the patron saint of all firefighters was then supposed to protect Kynšperk nad Ohří from further fires.
