Karlštejn Castle is located in the Český Kras protected area about 30 km southeast of Prague.
We arrived by train (connection Prague - Brno - Pilsen) and got off at the Karlštejn stop, which is approx. 2 km from the castle. We continued on foot and the signs directed us.
