Karlovy Vary, church of St. Mary Magdalene.

The original Gothic church from the second half of the 14th century is mentioned for the first time in 1485. Its first reconstruction took place in 1516. The year 1604 was unfavorable for the sanctuary, when there was a devastating fire and then the Thirty Years' War completed it. How the church looked for the next hundred years is a bit of a mystery.
