Kardashova Žčice
The town of Kardašova Řečice is located on the western edge of the Jindřichův Hradec district, about 10 km northwest of the district town at an altitude of 439 m. The original market village is remembered as far back as the 13th century. A guard castle stood on the edge of the later town, which was demolished during the Hussite Wars and dismantled over time. Today, only the remains of the rampart and the moat remind us of it. The village was originally called Žčicí.…
