is located in the heart of the village of Červená near Kašperské Hory.
This chapel or one could say a small church was built in 1856, the Chapel is a national cultural monument.
The history of the village of Red goes back even further than the construction of the Chapel, to the time of Charles IV. who rewarded a farmer from Červená for his help in marking the Golden Trail through the Šumava Hills.
