The Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Stolín near the Red Church

Originally, there was a small wooden column belfry under today's chapel, which was probably built at the beginning of the 19th century (the years 1810 and 1841 were carved on the column), but it could have been even older. By 1890, however, it was already so dilapidated that it could not be repaired. Provisionally, the column was shortened by the rotten part, set deeper into the ground and provided with several supports. This is how the bell tower stood for another year. Above…
