Candia

The settlement of Kandia (Candia, Gandia) belongs and in the past belonged to Líšní.
Until the 20s, the old imperial road from Brno to Olomouc led through Kandia. The settlement was originally created as a traveling inn along this important route. However, with the construction of the new Imperial Road, routed further south, it gradually lost its importance.
It may be interesting that the French emperor stayed here before the Battle of Slavkov...
