Stone mushroom - Šindelová

On the hill above Šindelová there is a natural monument Kamenný hřib.
It is a bizarre grouping of boulders created without the intervention of human hands - by natural weathering of granite during the Quaternary period, especially in periglacial conditions during the Pleistocene period. At that time, there was intense disintegration of the rock along the natural fracture systems.
