Kamenický Castle - a place with a long view

In the southeast direction from the town of Česká Kamenice, on Zámecký vrch (530 m above sea level), there are the ruins of Kamenické Castle. Zámecký vrch is a distinctive wooded basalt cone. On its steep slopes there are in places rubble fields and numerous isolated basaltic rocks with a noticeable columnar separation.
