Johann Gottfried Seume – monument and chapel in Teplice

The monument to Johann Gottfried Seum was built in 1895 and is located in Teplice, on the corner of U Císařských lázně and Lipová streets.
About a hundred meters further, in a pleasant park, stands the Chapel of the Discovery of St. Crosses (Seume Chapel). This baroque chapel was built by master mason Kristian Lagler from Teplice in the years 1728-1730 in the area of ​​the new cemetery, which was then located outside the city.
