Jindřichov in Silesia, old name Hennersdorf
Jindřichov in Silesia was founded like other villages in the valley of the river Ossy, today Osoblahy, by Bishop Bruno of Schaumburg from Olomouc. In 1256, it became a table estate of the bishops of Olomouc according to Magdeburg law.
The most important landmark is the castle (article) with the castle park. Furthermore, the church of St. Nicholas (article), a baroque statue of the Virgin Mary by the bridge in front of the castle.
