The Jičín Jewish Cemetery is located approx. 2 km northeast of the city in the direction of Valdice. It was founded in 1651, the oldest preserved tombstone dates from 1734. Old tombstones are found mainly in the northeastern part. Around 1888, the cemetery was expanded and a new mortuary was built. The last farewell took place in 1949. Those interested in visiting the cemetery can borrow the Keys from the castellan...
