Jičín - Valdštejn castle, museum

The Jičín Castle, together with the Valdická Gate and the Church of St. Jakub with the dominant Valdštejn square. The history of the place dates back to the time when Mikuláš Trčka from Lípa established a residence in house No. 1, which was rebuilt into a two-story Renaissance castle in 1607-1608 by Zikmund Smiřický.
