Jičín - Šibeňák pond
The Šibeňák pond is located in the Valdické suburb of Jičín. It is fed by the Valdický stream from the higher Hádek Pond. The pond is breeding, swimming is not prohibited here.... The surroundings of the pond, especially under the dike, were transformed into a park during flood protection.
The Hádek and Šibeňák ponds are also an important ornithological site.
