The eastern part of the ridge consists of the wide sandstone Devil's Plain (650-575 m), slowly descending from Pěnkavčí vrch to the west. On its southwestern slope, there are abandoned sandstone quarries that used to contain footprints and fossils of sea urchins and sponges of the Mesozoic age. Just below the flat top of the ridge is a large quarry, reaching a length of about 350 meters, a second smaller quarry lies further down at the foot of the slope. When…
