U jeda cave

Reviews

Based 0 assessment.
This is a group of underwater caves in a sharp bend in the Desolate Gully called U žida. Their survey was carried out at the beginning of the last century by Karel Absolon. According to historical sources, a Jewish merchant who was hiding here was robbed and killed here in the middle of the 19th century. Today, there is a commemorative plaque of tremp Karel Holeček, who tragically died here in 1965, on the rock wall.
