Jeseník - Gogol's bust
On the example of Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol (1809–52), we can demonstrate how problematic the ties between the Ukrainian nation and Mother Russia are, as we see today in the conflict in the eastern part of the country. Although we don't think so, although we generally perceive Gogol as a Russian writer, we should actually name him (even after his father) as Hohola, because he is originally Ukrainian.
