Deer column
About 20 meters from Rozcestí stands the so-called Deer Column on the edge of the entrance of the old Prague road. It is a slender sandstone column, set on a four-sided plinth with a relief of a stag mounting a man in flowing robes with a sword in hand. Today, the relief, which is now considerably outdated, probably depicts the protector of forest solitudes, St. Giljí, to whom a deer chased by a hunter takes refuge.
