Our destination is western Silesia, the Rychlebský promontory, the town of Javorník and the castle on Jánské vrch. The town of Javorník is first documented in 1291, the castle on Jánské vrch in 1307. Javorník is mentioned as a town in 1373. During the Hussite Wars, Javorník was also affected in 1428, the Hussites held the town for another 4 years.
