Wenke's department store in Jaroměř is a progressive building from 1909-1911; a building from the early period of the prominent Czech architect Josef Gočár (1880-1945). It is a terraced two-storey house on Husova street, which was built to replace the unsatisfactory sales premises of the haberdashery company "A. Wenke a syn".
