Janovice
The settlement of Janovice is a local part of the village of Starý Jičín and lies south of the village. Most of the houses in the settlement were built on the hill around the road connecting the village of Starý Jičín and the town of Valašské Meziříčí. A wooden mill stood on the hill at the southern edge of the settlement, and in its place today we find the Na Větřáku inn, with outdoor seating and a small children's playground.
