Hus's celebrations have been held regularly in Dobruška since the end of the 19th century and were directed by the local TJ Sokol, who collaborated with the "Vlasta" and "Dobroš" singing groups. The Czechoslovak Church was not established nationwide until January 8, 1920 in Prague, but the organization of this church in Dobruška only took place on September 29, 1921, when the first local council of elders was established in Dobruška.
