Pear tree Šmigula - Sivice

On the slope of the Velká Baba Hill, in the field track of Krátká kopaniny, there is a more than 200-year-old common pear tree, called Šmigula.
It probably once served as a triangulation point. Even today, the pear tree is a prominent solitaire in the middle of the meadows.
The circumference of the hollow, hollowed-out trunk is 3,4 m and the height of the tree is 9 m. The tree still bears fruit. The massive branches are anchored together to prevent the hollow trunk from breaking.
