Hradec Králové - Šimkovy sady

Today's Šimka orchards were founded in 1932-35, then as Herrmann orchards. They were much better known under the name Pionýrské orchards, the time of the comrades is to pay the pan away, and so after 1990 the name of the orchards changed for the third time, to Šimkovy orchards. They are bounded from the north by the Gočár circle and from the south by the Vysoký val, which is a preserved remnant of the Hradec Fortress.
