Hradec Králové - Gočárův District and Financial Office
Reviews
One of the last works of the greatest personality of Czech architecture of the 20th century, Josef Gočár, in Hradec Králové was the project of the District and Financial Office. This monumental building was built in 1932-36. In essence, these are two separate buildings connected by a "connecting seal" (experts will probably forgive me for this expression). The entrance portal is decorated with the national emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic.
