We are passing through the Český Krumlov district, which is why it is probably appropriate to visit the historic town of Rožmberk nad Vltavou. The castle of the same name awaits us in Rožmberk nad Vltavou. The headquarters of the Lords of the Roses is located on a promontory above the Vltava River. This is the oldest estate of the leading Czech noble family - the Rožmberks. 
At first glance it looks like a large complex, but as we soon find out, some of the castle buildings…
