Ronov Castle
It is located on a prominent wooded promontory above the Svitavou river, 1 km north of the railway station Babice nad Svitavou. The castle was built around 1360 and probably disappeared during the Hussite Wars. It had a rectangular plan with a small forecourt on the west side. To this day, tiny remains of masonry in the foundations and a system of ramparts and ditches have been preserved. A forest road surrounds the castle grounds. Around the castle…
