Helfštýn Castle sightseeing
What Rabí is to the Czechs, the ruins of the Helfštýna castle are to the Moravians and Silesians, covering an area of 187 x 152 m, making it one of the most extensive ruins in this area. It rises on top of a steep wooded hill (part of the Maleník ridge) above the Moravian Gate near the village of Týn nad Bečvou and is about 4 km away from the town of Lipník, which also bears the nickname of this well-known river.
